Description:What We're Doing
We're seeking a talented Cyber Engineering professional to join our team supporting the Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and testing patches to address vulnerabilities in Software, Hardware, and Firmware. Your focus will be on vulnerability management, including the analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations.
The Work
As a Cyber Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
• Installing and configuring Linux and Windows operating systems from the OS up to the application level.
• Documenting and verifying all installation and configuration steps for our labs.
• Developing test plans and procedures for software integration and unit testing.
• Collaborating with software developers and vendors to diagnose and identify the root cause of problems encountered during system integration.
• Submitting problem reports for errors found per Agile processes and coordinating daily integration activities with other Cross Functional Product Teams (CFPTs).
• Developing and implementing Cyber TPs in the NT labs, including installing and unit testing Cyber Products such as ESS, ACAS, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.
• Providing redlines to engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership as part of your responsibilities.
• Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards in your daily tasks.

Entry-level to experienced, but still a learner typically with an advanced degree and 0 years experience or bachelors degree and 0-2+ years experience or equivalent; some use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts; develops solutions to problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity; work may be closely supervised while following specific, detailed instructions or under general supervision; failure to achieve results may result in the allocation of additional resources and cause delays in program schedules; contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders and internal to company or group with infrequent customer contacts. May also include non-exempt personnel involved in technical work with appropriate education and/or specialized training and 0 to 7+ years experience or equivalent. Will have experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as scripting and configuration management.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active Interim Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related field
• Experience with Linux and Windows installation and configuration.
• Strong documentation and testing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with software developers, vendors, and Cyber Leadership.
Desired Skills:
Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Agile processes is a plus.
Understanding of Cyber industry/DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems is highly desirable.
Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls is a plus.
Candidate must have effective oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with performing cyber security systems engineering for DoD Information Systems is desirable.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $62,900 - $120,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
