NASA's Orion Program is seeking a Data Analysis Tool Developer to join the Team with experience using the Microsoft Power stack (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate). The Developer will collaborate directly with the Orion Program Resources Office throughout the development process to identify and refine business management requirements, develop dashboards, obtain client feedback, and provide analysis and insights to allow the Program and Cost Account Managers to make data-driven decisions.


Qualifications:

-Power BI (requirement)

-Data warehouse (requirement)

-Excel (requirement)

-Data Science (preferred)

-Statistics (preferred)


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

-Design, build, and develop consumable Power BI dashboards, reports, and solutions

-Define the Program and or Cost Account Manager’s business reporting needs through context and an understanding of the big picture

-Translate big-picture ideas into highly specific technical requirements for tool development

-Design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights

-Develop highly innovative solutions through automating complex, manual/semi-automated processes

-Maintain system documentation, develop job aids, procedures for system maintenance, and provide end-user training and troubleshooting support


This is an in-person internship at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.
