What You Will Do

This position is part of the Labor System team which provides holistic system and data strategy, optimization, and support for all labor and workforce management systems across domestic sites. In this role you will work on the integration, design, implementation and maintenance of data solutions across multiple systems, sites, and different environments – including a strategic transition from on-premise to cloud infrastructure.

The role reports to the Manager-Data Integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data architecture, data modeling, and ETL mapping solutions
  • Follow best practices for data creating and managing the data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) framework
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of IT technologies and developments. This may involve attending seminars, training events and reading relevant journals and technical documentation
  • Break large complex problems into small and testable tasks
  • Understand, recommend and support robust reporting and analytic architectures
  • Maintain user connectivity and provide adequate security for data warehouse
  • Monitor the data warehouse and business intelligence system performance and integrity and provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required
  • Develop unique, well documented solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of information customers and stakeholders
  • Collect, process, and analyze large data sets
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently in a fast paced environment
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and cross functional sustainment duties with the team

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience with data analysis and data profiling using SQL and other tools
  • Demonstrated ability with the Microsoft Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS)
  • SQL, databases, and data Warehouse experience
  • Strong written, oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data
  • Strong work ethics with phenomenal attention to detail and quest for quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Python knowledge

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
