Entry Level Quality Assurance/Software Tester

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Quality Assurance/Software Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of our Agile team working on the Object Management Service (OMS) while ensuring effective implementation of Agile principles and practices.

Object Management Service (OMS) delivers a secure and modern API that is tailored for efficient object production and management.  The program architecture is build on discrete analytics, storage and data microservices that enable seamless integration across multiple missions and applications.  Your work will entail critical knowledge-sharing tools for the customer with real-world applications. The tools the team works on are high-visibility and enable collaboration across multiple partners as they are used in the day-to-day mission, throughout the customer and across the broader Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will enable data to be updated and shared in real-time and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: 

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

  • 2 years of experience and an Associates Degree or
  • 0 years of experience and a Bachelors degree
  • Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree

  • Quality Assurance Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer or similar role.
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Test Automation:
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify, document, and track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of test cases and documentation.
  • Thorough in validating data integrity and application functionality.

Summary Pay Range:
