Software Engineer 2 (Mailchimp)

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer 2 to join our Purchase Experience team! You will build experiences that help Mailchimp customers leverage the power of our combined products to grow their businesses. This role will bring our products, data, and AI capabilities together to give our users complete confidence in their leads and customer relationships. You can expect to assist with implementing the team’s technical vision and work collaboratively with other engineers on the team as you work across the codebase.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience building and operating web applications, plus familiarity with current technology trends and patterns. They should also be a skilled communicator and collaborator comfortable working across multiple teams and departments.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and Brooklyn offices two or more days per week.

Responsibilities

• You’ll write and maintain scalable, efficient code for the Mailchimp application.
• You’ll work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through implementation.
• You'll assist with establishing patterns and processes and collaborate with team members through examples in your own work.
• You'll develop and enhance new and existing features as well as investigate and resolve defects.
• You'll provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, as needed.
• You'll remain up-to-date on evolving tools and patterns for managing infrastructure and suggest their implementation when necessary.
• You'll help scope, estimate, and prioritize work.
